RSO Gummies
I’ll admit it… I have a bit of an obsession with gummies. 😄 They’re discreet, easy to take with you, and probably one of my favorite ways to enjoy cannabis. After plenty of experimenting with different recipes, I finally landed on a version that checks all the boxes. They’re soft, chewy, packed with fruity flavor, and best of all, they’re incredibly easy to make.
The great thing about making your own RSO Gummies is that you have complete control over the ingredients, the flavors, and most importantly, the potency. Whether you prefer low-dose gummies for daytime use or stronger ones for evenings, this recipe makes it easy to customize every batch to fit your needs.
Another bonus? Unlike many homemade gummy recipes, these don’t require any complicated candy-making techniques. If you can stir a pot and pour into molds, you’ve got this!

How to Make RSO Gummies

Ingredients:
- 1 tsp sunflower lecithin.
- 1 gram RSO (adjustable).
- 2 tbsp honey or light corn syrup.
- 1 package flavored gelatin.
- 2 tbsp unflavored gelatin.
- ½ cup fruit juice (your favorite flavor).
- ½ tsp citric acid (optional).
Tools:
- Small saucepan.
- Silicone gummy molds.
- Silicone spatula or whisk.
- Measuring cups & spoons.
- Dropper or squeeze bottle.
- Small mixing bowl (optional).
- Airtight container for storage.
Instructions:
1. Bloom the gelatin: Pour the fruit juice into a small saucepan and sprinkle both the unflavored gelatin and flavored gelatin over the top. Let everything sit for about 5 minutes.
2. Warm everything up: Place the saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly until the gelatin has completely dissolved. Be careful not to let the mixture boil, as excessive heat can affect the final texture.
3. Add the infusion: Once everything is smooth, stir in the honey (or corn syrup), sunflower lecithin, and RSO. Continue mixing until the RSO is completely incorporated into the gummy mixture.
4. Fill the molds: Working fairly quickly, use a dropper or squeeze bottle to fill your silicone molds. Tap the molds gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles.
5. Let them set: Transfer the molds to the refrigerator and allow the gummies to chill for at least 30-45 minutes, or until completely firm.
6. Remove and store: Pop the gummies out of the molds and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Tips For Better Rick Simpson Oil Gummies
- Don’t Boil the Mixture: Gentle heat is all you need. Boiling can weaken the gelatin and may affect the cannabinoids.
- Lecithin is Worth It: While technically optional, sunflower lecithin helps keep the RSO evenly dispersed throughout the mixture, making dosing much more consistent.
- Get Creative: Mix different juice flavors, use fun gummy molds, or add a little citric acid if you enjoy sour gummies.
