How to Make Weed Infused Tequila

  • 750ml bottle of tequila.
  • 3-5 grams of dried cannabis flowers or leaves.
  • A glass jar or airtight container with a lid.
  • Cheesecloth or a fine strainer.
  • A dark, cool place for storage.

  1. Decarboxylation: Grind the cannabis into a fine consistency and spread it evenly on a baking sheet. Bake it in the oven for about 30-40 minutes at 240°F (115°C), or until it becomes slightly browned. This process activates the THC and CBD in the cannabis.

  2. Infusion: Place the decarboxylated cannabis into the glass jar or airtight container. Pour the tequila into the container, ensuring that the cannabis is fully submerged. Seal the jar tightly.

  3. Storage: Store the container in a dark, cool place, away from direct sunlight. Let the mixture infuse for at least 48 hours, shaking the jar gently once or twice a day to agitate the contents.

  4. Straining: After the infusion period, strain the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine strainer into a clean bottle or container. This will remove the cannabis plant material, leaving you with cannabis-infused tequila.

  5. Enjoy responsibly: Weed-infused tequila can be consumed in various ways. You can sip it straight, mix it into cocktails, or use it in recipes that call for tequila. Be cautious with your dosage, as the potency can vary depending on the strain of cannabis used and the infusion time.

What Is Weed Infused Tequila?

Weed-infused tequila is nothing more than a tequila that contains a good percentage of THC or CBD (depending on the case), which has become quite popular among the world’s stoners in recent years.

The infusion of weed makes the tequila taste a little more herbal and with the earthy cannabis aroma that we love while providing an intense high! Of course, the potency of the high can vary depending on the strain of marijuana used in the infusion.

Should you try Tequila Cannabis?

Life is all about experiences and memories, so basically we should try everything at least once! Besides, if you are a stoner who enjoys a good tequila, new emotions, and have experience with cannabis products, why not combine it all?

Drinking a well-prepared tequila cannabis will not do you any harm as long as you know how to drink it responsibly. Focus on having fun and making the most of the euphoric feeling that the mixture of alcohol and weed will cause in your body.

So if you ask us… Yes, you should definitely try weed infused tequila!

Effects of Tequila Cannabis:

Once you start drinking tequila infused with weed your head will start to want to feel those magical effects that everyone describes, however, this is just the beginning, and therefore for the first few minutes you will not feel any different than when you drink non-infused alcohol.

About an hour after your first drink, you will start to notice why tequila cannabis has become so popular among stoners…

The alcohol in tequila has already hit you some time ago and now it’s your turn to feel the effects of cannabis coursing through your body, bringing you to that state of euphoria you’ve been waiting for!

Generally speaking, the effects of THC and CBD infused tequila are the same, however, the potency of the high will depend a lot on the type of cannabis you consume.

If what you are looking for is to feel full of energy, euphoric, and with that classic feeling of mental high, we suggest you try a tequila infused with a sativa strain high in THC.

Otherwise, if you are looking to experience a calmer, stress-free, and totally relaxed state, you should try a tequila infused with an indica herb high in CBD.

Attention! Although the effects of cannabis tequila are desirable, be careful and drink in moderation and responsibly. Otherwise, you might get into a Crossfaded state… a feeling you will want to avoid!

The Crossfaded Effect:

This is the name given to that phenomenon that occurs in your body when you mix large amounts of alcohol with marijuana. It makes you go from a total state of high spirits to a roller coaster ride that just won’t stop!

Our body’s way of dealing with excess alcohol is to get rid of the excess by vomiting. However, when alcohol is mixed with marijuana this does not happen.

One of the characteristics that cannabis has is that it suppresses nausea, so it will prevent you from vomiting. Something that in this particular case could cause you big problems!

That is why it is so important that when you consume tequila cannabis or any other alcoholic beverage infused with cannabis, you do it responsibly and in moderation.
