Easy Kief Brownies

Brownies and cannabis go together like, well, brownies and cannabis! But what if we skip the usual butter and oil infusions and go straight to the kief? This potent and versatile form of cannabis packs a punch while keeping things simple in the kitchen!

Let’s make some rich, fudgy, and ultra-dank kief brownies!

How to Make Kief-Infused Brownies

Kief Brownie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 – 1 gram decarbed kief.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar.
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour.
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder.
  • 1/4 tsp salt.
  • 1/2 cup melted butter.
  • 2 large eggs.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract.
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or nuts (optional).

Tools:

  • Mixing bowl.
  • Whisk or spatula.
  • Baking dish.
  • Parchment paper.
  • Measuring spoons.

Instructions:

1. Decarb the kief: If you haven’t done this already, spread your kief on some baking paper and pop it in the oven at around 225 degrees for half an hour. Check out my guide for more details on this.

2. Prepare the brownie batter: Heat up the oven to 325. Mix the dry stuff in one bowl, and the wet stuff in another. Then, just blend them all together till it’s nice and smooth.

3. Infuse the kief: Sprinkle the decarbed kief evenly into your batter and mix thoroughly to distribute it. The more even the mix, the better the potency in each bite!

4. Bake: Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with just a few crumbs on it.

💡 Pro Tip: Watch out that heat, higher temps may degrade THC, reducing potency.

5. Cool & cut: Let your brownies cool completely before cutting. This helps with even distribution of potency in each piece.

Tips For Better Kief Brownies

If you want consistent potency, texture, and flavor every time, follow these expert tips to refine your baking process and get the best results.

  • Decarb Properly: Ensure your kief is fully decarbed before mixing it into your batter. Undecarbed kief won’t provide the desired psychoactive effects.

  • Mix Evenly: Stir your kief thoroughly into the batter to prevent uneven potency in your brownies.

  • Let Them Cool: Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting to ensure an even texture and consistent dosing.

  • Test Your Potency: If unsure, start with a small dose and wait 1.5 to 2 hours before consuming more.
