Cannabis Pizza

There are some foods that just seem destined to be infused, and pizza is definitely one of them. The first time I made a cannabis pizza, I realized it wasn’t about loading it with as much THC as possible—it was about taking something I already loved and making it a little more special. A crispy crust, bubbling cheese, your favorite toppings, and a drizzle of cannabis-infused olive oil create a pizza night that’s relaxing, delicious, and surprisingly easy to make.

The best part? You can customize every single slice. Whether you’re a fan of classic pepperoni, veggie-loaded pies, or gourmet combinations, this recipe works with almost any toppings while keeping the infusion simple and consistent.

Why You’ll Love This Cannabis-Infused Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 prepared pizza dough (store-bought or homemade).
  • ½ cup pizza sauce.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • 2 tbsp cannabis-infused olive oil.
  • ¼ cup sliced mushrooms.
  • ¼ cup sliced bell peppers.
  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced.
  • Fresh basil leaves.
  • Grated Parmesan cheese.
  • 1 tbsp regular olive oil (optional).
  • 20–30 slices pepperoni (optional).
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Tools:

  • Pizza stone or baking sheet.
  • Pizza peel or large spatula.
  • Pastry brush.
  • Pizza cutter.
  • Mixing bowl.
  • Measuring spoons.
  • Cooling rack.
  • Rolling pin (optional).

Instructions:

1. Prepare the pan: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it heats.

2. Prepare the dough: Roll or stretch the pizza dough into your desired shape and thickness. Transfer it onto a lightly floured pizza peel or parchment-lined baking sheet.

3. Add the sauce: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about a ½-inch border around the edges.

4. Add the cheese: Sprinkle the mozzarella evenly across the pizza and finish with a light sprinkle of Parmesan if desired.

5. Add your toppings: Arrange the pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, peppers, or any toppings you enjoy. Try not to overload the pizza, as too many toppings can prevent the crust from crisping properly.

6. Bake it: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown, the cheese is melted, and the toppings are cooked.

7. Add the cannabis infusion: Let the pizza cool for 2–3 minutes, then use a pastry brush to lightly coat the crust and top with cannabis-infused olive oil.

8. Slice and serve: Top with fresh basil, extra Parmesan, or red pepper flakes and serve!

Tips For Better Cannabis Pizza

  • Don’t Overdo the Toppings: It can be tempting to pile everything on, but too many toppings can leave the center soggy instead of crispy.

  • Bake at High Heat: A hot oven is one of the biggest secrets to getting that pizzeria-style crust at home.

  • Know Your Dosage: Make sure you calculate the total potency before baking. Divide the pizza into equal slices so everyone knows approximately how much THC is in each piece.
