I’m a cannabis chef, a creative mind, and the author behind

Born in Spain, I’ve always been drawn to the vibrant flavors and traditions of food. My journey has taken me from the streets of my hometown to some of the most inspiring kitchens in the world, and now, to the digital space where I share my love for cannabis edibles.

About Antonella Moniz

Raised at the intersection of Spanish and Portuguese cultures, I grew up with a deep appreciation for how food can tell stories and bring people together.

After graduating from High School, I followed my passion to one of the most prestigious culinary institutes, where I learned the science, art, and heart behind professional cooking.

The Inspiration Behind WeedStripes

When the pandemic hit, like many others, I found myself with more time to reflect and create. That’s when the idea for WeedStripes was born.

I wanted to combine my culinary expertise with my love for writing and sharing recipes that inspire, educate, and empower people to explore cannabis as part of their kitchen repertoire.

Life Beyond the Kitchen

Now based in the United States, I live with my wonderful dog, Canela, who’s always by my side during late-night brainstorming sessions.

When I’m not experimenting with new recipes, I’m traveling to soak in inspiration from different cuisines, writing about my adventures, or simply enjoying a good meal with friends and family.

Through Weedstripes, I aim to:
