Cannabis Chocolate-Covered Strawberries

Chocolate-covered strawberries have always been one of those desserts that feel a little fancy without requiring much effort. I usually make them for date nights, birthdays, or whenever I want something sweet but don’t feel like spending hours in the kitchen. After making the classic version more times than I can count, I figured it was time to give them a little WeedStripes twist. A drizzle of cannabis-infused chocolate later, and they instantly became one of my favorite infused desserts.

The best part about these Cannabis chocolate-covered strawberries is how incredibly easy they are to make. With just a handful of ingredients and about 30 minutes, you’ll have a beautiful dessert that’s perfect for sharing… or keeping all to yourself. 😉 They’re rich, fruity, elegant, and the combination of juicy strawberries with smooth chocolate never gets old.

Ingredients:

  • Fresh strawberries.
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate.
  • 2 tbsp cannabis coconut oil or cannabutter.
  • 4 ounces white chocolate (optional).
  • Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or cookie crumbs (optional).

Tools:

  • Microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.
  • Silicone spatula.
  • Spoon.
  • Baking sheet or tray.
  • Parchment paper.
  • Fork or dipping tool.
  • Measuring spoons.
  • Refrigerator.

Instructions:

1. Wash and dry the strawberries: Rinse the strawberries thoroughly under cold water and dry each one completely with paper towels.

2. Prepare your tray: Line a baking sheet or large plate with parchment paper so the chocolate-covered strawberries can set without sticking.

3. Melt the chocolate: Place the semi-sweet chocolate and cannabis coconut oil (or cannabis butter) into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each one until the chocolate is completely smooth. If you prefer, you can melt everything using a double boiler over low heat.

4. Dip the strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the leaves and dip it into the melted chocolate, gently twisting to coat almost the entire berry. Lift it out, letting any excess chocolate drip back into the bowl before placing it on the parchment paper.

5. Add decorations: Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle on crushed nuts, coconut, sprinkles, or cookie crumbs if you’re using them. If you’d like a decorative drizzle, melt the white chocolate separately, then drizzle it over the strawberries with a spoon.

6. Chill until firm: Place the strawberries in the refrigerator for about 20-30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely hardened. Serve immediately or keep refrigerated until you’re ready to enjoy them.
