Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces).
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder.
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika.
  • 1/2 tsp salt.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper.
  • 2 large eggs (beaten).
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs.
  • 1/2 cup cannabis-infused oil.
  • 1/2 cup regular oil.

Tools:

  • Tongs.
  • Whisk.
  • Paper towels.
  • Mixing bowls.
  • Baking sheet.
  • Cutting board.
  • Frying pan or deep fryer.

Instructions:

1. Prep your chicken: Cut the chicken into same-size bits so they cook even. Dry the pieces with paper towels.

2. Mix the dry stuff: In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir good to mix the flavors.

3. Beat the eggs: In another bowl, whisk the eggs till they’re all mixed. The egg helps the breading stick.

4. Get the breading ready: Grab another bowl and dump in those panko crumbs. These babies are gonna make our nuggets super light and crunchy.

5. Coat the chicken in flour: Roll each piece good in the flour mix, make sure every bit is covered. This locks in all that juicy goodness and gives us a killer crispy crust.

6. Dip in egg: Next, dip each floured piece in the eggs, let the extra drip off. This helps the breading stick good.

7. Cover in breading: Finally, coat each piece with the panko, press a bit to make sure it sticks well. This makes the outside crispy.

8. Heat the oil: Pour the cannabis oil in the pan and heat it on medium. Get it hot before you fry, so they turn golden.

9. Fry the nuggets: Add a few at a time, fry for 3-4 minutes each side till golden brown. Don’t crowd the pan, so they fry even.

10. Drain and rest: When done, take them out and put them on a plate with paper towels to soak up extra oil. Let them rest a bit before you eat.

Air Fryer: Cook at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway.
Oven-Baked: Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway.
